Intermittent fasting for women is becoming more and more popular but most of the information out there is focused on fasting to build lean muscle mass for bodybuilders, which is  more suited to men. Intermittent fasting is perfect for women who want to slim down, lose weight and maintain their figure but are not looking to build muscle. While weight training is a great idea for any woman trying to lose weight (as it maintains your muscle mass and your resting metabolic rate) it’s not essential for those that want to use intermittent fasting to lose weight and keep it off.
